Kate's Our Choice

Local Labour Party members Party have chosen Kate Green to be our candidate in the General Election. Kate was until her selection, the Chief Executive of Child Poverty Action Group and a respected campaigner for economic reform.

I'm delighted to have been selected as Labour's prospective candidate in Stretford and Urmston and I'm looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible here in the constituency over the coming months. I've been getting a great welcome as your candidate, and I am really enjoying hearing your views and ideas.

The Gorse Hill ward is a special place. I fondly remember speaking to and working with so many local Gorse Hill residents from when I was the councillor. It was great to represent the old Talbot ward.
And I continue to work closely with Gorse Hill councillors and residents to improve the area and make Gorse Hill a cleaner, greener, safer place to live.
This website is a great way for people to engage with Gorse Hill Labour and I hope you enjoy the site.
