The map to the right displays planning applications within 5km of the centre of the ward. The data comes from the three planning authorities within that radius - Trafford, Salford and Manchester.
However, the biggest acknowledgement goes to Andrew Speakman, a member of the Openly Local community, who has designed a 'scraper' to collect the planning applications on the planning authority websites throughout the Uk, and to allow it to be output in a form that can be placed on a google map
